Hotel Plaza by Kavia

Location was great, the rooms were mostly clean and big, and the beds were comfy. Modern style hotel. The rooms were quiet for Merida, some noise comes in especially car honking. Great walkable street out front, 15 minute walk to the main plaza in Merida. Good value, I paid 200$ for 3 nights.

An excellent breakfast was included in the coffee shop/restaurant next door. The rooms were a nice size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower was also very good. Staff was generally kind and helpful. Location was maybe a 20 minute walk to the center, but the boulevard on which the hotel is located is beautiful in every direction.

The location was fantastic and we appreciated they had a parking area. We rented a car and then walked for the most part. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful.

This place offers great value, comfort, and location. We stayed for five nights and had no issues whatsoever. The location is excellent for walking around the Paseo Montejo and the Old Town. The staff were always friendly, accommodating, and ready to help. The parking lot is a short walk away, we always had a safe place to park, and staff were always available to escort me to and from the car. The water pressure and hot water were always adequate.
